surfsmurf - Matilde Tracker

Compatibility Handling
• Added loop point validation in GetLoopStart() and GetLoopEnd()
• Prevents out-of-bounds memory reads when v1.10 wavetable data has invalid loop points (LoopEnd > numSamples)
• SINC interpolation (16+ sample lookahead) now safely handles legacy data
• Fix applies to all filter modes and sample formats

Corrected Naming: "Sinc 512" → "Sinc 256"
• Renamed "Offline SINC 512 Bounce" to "Offline SINC 256 Bounce"
• Reflects correct tap count: 257 taps (128 each side + center)
• Variable names updated throughout codebase for accuracy
• No functional changes, naming correction only

Corrected dialog box build version

surfsmurf - Matilde Tracker

New version of the new high quality interpolation version by George of DiscoDSP. Fixed bug so that sample playback is correct right from the start of each sample. Also fixed: high quality attribute was inverted, now it's normal (1=on, 0=off). Fixed bugs with long wave filenames handling, interpolator cleanup, and SINC playback issues with loop points. It should be ready for production use.

You may want to rename this file to "Matilde Tracker2.dll" if you want it to replace v1.7 or 1.9.

surfsmurf - Matilde Tracker

George from DiscoDSP spent a few hours updating the Matilde Tracker machine (32-bit only) and improving the sample interpolation. This update brings significantly better audio quality with SINC interpolation that includes smart anti-aliasing and AVX2 optimizations. You'll get professional-grade sample playback in real-time (SINC 64) and even higher quality for your final renders (SINC 256). It's fully compatible with your existing projects. Readme.txt included with more details. Enjoy.

IX - Magic

+ Fixed Sequence not firing after pasting a Step into an empty Sequence.
+ Fixed naming of duplicate resources.
+ Improved naming of new resources.
+ "Reset on stop" is now a Page setting with a checkbox in the main dialog.
+ Removed machine attribute "Reset on stop".
+ "Page load events" are now "Page activation events"
+ Added Page events for transport actions. Trigger Sequences when playback starts/stops etc.
+ Added new Event type, Transport Event, used to trigger Buzz Play/Seek/Stop/Record.
+ Added song position markers for use with Transport Events.
+ Dialog improvements.
+ Machine version 1.19
+ File version 17

A peer/MIDI event sequencer, whatever that is. It's good, go with it. Feed it notes to make cool stuff happen.

In the main dialog you can define Pages, Sequences, Steps and Events and what not. Each "Page" is the top level object which contains "Sequences", which contain "Steps", which contain "Events". The "Events" make cool stuff happen.

You should definitely read the manual. Really. No, really. I really mean it. I do. Honest. Please?
